Export Quality Control Specialist–Apple Juice

Description

• Fulfill the batch selection for all the inventory in China; and quality supervision  before loading;

Responsibilities

• Liaising with plant in the selection of product to match customers’ specifications;  
• Actively coordinating with QA Manager in the batches differentiation for various markets/customers;
• Help on the Quality issues resolved during the period from the plant departure to FOB port;
• Actively monitor the samples dispatch base on the batch selection and do a timely follow up; 
• Actively organize the product re-test to follow the shipping schedule and match with the customer spec;
• Make proactive recommendations and offer solutions to the Management to improve Just-In-Time delivery on juices;
• Timely preparation of the related documentation and report periodically;
• Visit Huangdao cold store for QA issues (sampling etc.)when necessary;
• Additional responsibilities as necessary.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED
 
Must 

• Must have very good communication skills. Basic understanding and writing the English spec and mails;

Preferred

• Bilingual skills (Chinese and English); practiced with excel. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
 
Must 

• Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience in the juice processing industry. Incumbent with exposure in the laboratory environment, earned in a food/beverage manufacturing industry can also be considered
• Must have some prior Supervisory experience

Preferred

• Prefer applicants with a college degree in food engineering. Work experienced can be substituted for college degree.
